Fort Agila Educational Weather Station

Learn about weather monitoring, environmental sensors, and Internet of Things (IoT) technology through hands-on experience.

The Fort Agila Educational Weather Station by Fort Solutions Inc. is a weather monitoring system designed for students, teachers, hobbyists, and technology enthusiasts.

The system uses electronic sensors to measure environmental conditions such as temperature and relative humidity. Collected readings are automatically recorded and presented through a web-based dashboard, allowing users to observe environmental changes and analyze historical trends.

Designed with education and experimentation in mind, the weather station provides practical exposure to sensor technology, data collection, computer programming, networking, and IoT applications.

Key Features:

Environmental Monitoring – Measures temperature and relative humidity using electronic sensors.

Automatic Data Collection – Records environmental measurements at regular intervals.

Web-Based Dashboard – Displays readings and historical trends through an easy-to-understand interface.

Remote Access – Allows users to view collected information through a web browser.

Educational Applications – Supports classroom demonstrations, science projects, and hands-on IoT learning.

Lakbay-2: An Educational Mobile Robot

Lakbay-2 is a tracked educational mobile robot designed to introduce students, hobbyists, educators, and technology enthusiasts to the fundamentals of robotics, programming, electronics, and computer-controlled movement.

Developed as a hands-on learning platform, Lakbay-2 combines mechanical mobility, electronic motor control, onboard computing, and video capture in a versatile robotic system.

The robot uses two independently controlled stepper motors to drive its tracks, enabling precise forward and reverse movement, turning, and maneuvering. Each motor is connected to a dedicated stepper motor driver, allowing a single-board computer (SBC) to control motor speed, direction, and movement sequences.

A mounted USB camera provides real-time video capture, enabling users to explore remote observation, video streaming, image processing, computer vision, and camera-assisted navigation.

The single-board computer serves as Lakbay-2’s central controller, providing a flexible environment for developing and testing robotics applications using programming languages such as Python.

Key Features
  • Tracked Mobility: Two independently driven tracks provide maneuverability across various surfaces.
  • Precise Motor Control: Two stepper motors and dedicated motor drivers enable programmable movement, speed, and direction.
  • Onboard Computing: A single-board computer manages motor control, camera operation, and user-developed applications.
  • Mounted USB Camera: Enables real-time video capture and experimentation with computer vision and image processing.
  • Hands-On Education: Demonstrates the integration of mechanical components, electronics, computing, and software in a functional robotic platform.
